I also organize an annual Master Class, and a monthly informal “Guitar Pull.”Teaching Music Since 1978

I organize an annual Master Class for my students, and guests have included Amy Ray, Emily Saliers, Sonia Leigh, Girlyman, John McCutcheon, Sam McPherson and Michelle Melone.
The last Sunday of every month, I hold an informal “Guitar Pull” for my students, where we workshop songwriters’ songs, jam, and perform whatever we’ve been working on at our lessons for each other. It’s usually composed of 5-8 students.
It’s a great way to learn how to perform in front of people. Everyone is very supportive and encouraging of each other. It’s a fun way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday!
